We enjoyed all the routes - the windmills, canals, rivers, lakes and birds (herons, grebes, swans, coots, moorhen, ducks, geese, and even some storks). My children loved the museums in Leiden and a bike trip to the beach, cycling around the pretty old towns of Delft and Gouda, and the lovely route through the woods from Leiden back to Delft stopping to visit Mauritshuis.
